Clash Of Clans

Clash of Clans is a freemium mobile MMO strategy video game developed and published by Supercell. The game was released for iOS platforms on 2 August, 2012, and on Google Play for Android on 7 October, 2013.Clash of Clans is an online multiplayer game in which players build a territory, train troops, and attack other player's territories to earn gold and elixir, and the most precious Dark Elixir, which can be used to build defenses that protect the player from other players' attacks, to train and upgrade troops, e.t.c. . The game also features a pseudo-single player campaign in which the player must attack a series of fortified goblin villages.

In this blog I will share with you many things about the the game which I have learnt through my experience in the game. I will also be holding many quizes for you and will also be comparing the pros and corns of the various troops and spells present in the game. Therefore we will have a lot of fun.

Basic Information About The Game

 

In this game ,there are mainly three components:-
  

Building

There are three types of buildings:-
   

Resource buildings

  

• Collectors

Collectors are the building which are used to collect resources like elixir,gold and dark elixir which are used for various purposes in the game.

• Storages

Storages are the building which are used to store resources like elixir,gold and dark elixir which are used for various purposes in the game.

• Clan Castle

 

The Clan Castle houses your Treasury and any reinforcement troops or spells sent by your clanmates.

•  The Town

The town hall  is the heart of your village. Upgrading your Town Hall unlocks new defenses, buildings, traps and much more.

Defenses

Defenses protects the player's territory from attacks by other players and are a very important part of the game.

There are 12 type of defenses and of them has its special use.

• Cannon
• Archer Tower
• Mortar
• Air Defense
• Wizard Tower
• Air Sweeper
•  Hidden Tesla
• X-bow
• Inferno Tower
• Eagle Artillery
• Walls
• Traps

Army Buildings

 Army is an important aspect in the game, these some of the buildings are used to deal with your army. These include:-

• Army Camps

Army Camps are the places where your troops are stationed. The space of your army camps decide how large army can you create for attacking. Upgrade them in order to hold a bigger army.

• Barracks

Barracks are a place where we can train elixir troops. A new troop is unlocked on each upgrade. Upgrade them in order to get new troops.

• Dark Barracks

Barracks are a place where we can dark train elixir troops. A new troop is unlocked on each upgrade. Upgrade them in order to get new troops.

• Laboratory 

Laboratory is a place where you can upgrade the level your troops. The level of your laboratory decides to which level can you train a particular troop. Upgrade them in order to upgrade your troops to a more higher level. 

• Spell Factory

Spell Factory is a place where you can make powerful spells that can help you a lot while attacking. A new spell is unlocked on each upgrade. Upgrade them in order to get new spells.

 

• Dark Spell Factory

Dark Spell Factory is a place where you can make powerful spells that can help you a lot while attacking. A new dark spell is unlocked on each upgrade. Upgrade them in order to get new dark spells.

Others

Apart from defenses,collectors and storages there which are grouped under the category of other buildings. These include:-

• Decorations

Decorations are a type of building which makes your territory more beautiful and attractive. But one of their most important functions which is known to just a few people is that it prevents the attacker to drop their troops on them. 

• Obstacles

Obstacles are the buildings which just randomly appear anywhere on your territory. They are removed using elixir or gold and can yield gems. A special type of obstacle called gem-box always yield 25 gems and appear a little rarely. Obstacles related to the current occasion also sometimes appear during special occasion updates.

• Loot Cart

Loot cart is a special feature which has been added by the new update. It is a very useful feature as the loot cart always appear after anybody attacks us in our territory,and gives us back us some of the looted resouces

Resources

 

There are three types of resources. They are:-

Gold 

It is a very resource which is mainly used for upgrading defenses, town hall, clan castle,e.t.c.

Elixir

It is a resource which is used mainly for upgrading elixir troops, spells and army buildings, for training troops, e.t.c.

Dark Elixir

It is a very precious resource used for upgrading dark elixir troops,spells, barbarian king and archer queen and for creating them.

Gems

It is a very precious resource which is used mainly for speeding up, buying resources and shields,e.t.c.   

  Army

 

Army in clash of clans consists of a collection of 10 powerful elixir troops ,6 strong dark elixir troops ,3 incredible heroes ,3 mind blowing dark spells and 5 tremendous spells.

The elixir troops in the game include:-

• Barbarians
• Archers
• Giants
• Goblins
• Wall Breakers
• Balloons
• Wizards
• Healers
• Dragons
• P.E.K.K.As

Dark Elixir Troops 

The dark elixir troops in the game include:-

• Minions
• Hogs
• Valkyries
• Golems 
• Witch
•  Lava Hound

Spells 

 The spells in the game include:-

1. Lightning Spell
2. Healing Spell
3. Rage Spell
4. Jump Spell
5. Freeze Spell

 Dark Spells

 The elixir troops in the game include:-

1. Poison Spell
2. Earthquake Spell
3. Haste Spell

Heroes

 

The heroes in the game include:-

1. Barbarian King
2. Archer Queen
3. Grand Warden 

This is just an over all descripcion of the game.

I willl come up with a comparison between the barbarian king and archer queen to decide who is more powerful at the maxed level between them, in the next post.
